Everything you need to know about CBD Oil…

Is CBD Oil… a tincture?
Tinctures are an ancient form of receiving the benefits of natural medicine. Tinctures are highly concentrated extracts of the medicinal components of plants. These extracts are usually made by soaking the bark, berries, leaves, roots, or flowers (dried or fresh) of plants in alcohol, vinegar or oil. While the word “tincture” traditionally refers to a formula where alcohol, vinegar or oil is the primary solvent.
Most products in the CBD Marketplace are referred to as a tincture. However, they are typically not suspended in alcohol….they are typically suspended in a carrier oil!
To make a CBD oil, CBD and sometimes other compounds like terpenes and flavonoids are extracted from the plant material and then mixed with a carrier oil. That’s the case with broad and full spectrum oils.
What are CBD Oils Used For?
Like high-CBD hemp in other forms like flower, smoke-ables, gummies, tinctures are used by people for lots for reasons. CBD can be used to promote daily wellness + RITUAL, ease pain and symptoms of inflammation, sadness and anxiety. More than other forms of CBD Oil allows people a convenient and precise daily dose of wellness that can be easily incorporated into their lifestyle and daily rituals.
We have heard so many different uses, it can really put a smile on your face.
We have watched users transition off of intense pharmaceuticals to high dosage and use of CBD to treat chronic pain. We have watched users transition into a new career that doesn’t allow them to smoke THC, so they begin to indulge in CBD to fill the void. We have discussed the use of CBD to aid in alleviating migraine’s. Some users need their oil to take the edge off of a stressful work environment. We have many female users who cling to the oil when their time of the month comes around.
And the list goes on. Find your reason, to soften the reality you are living in.
Mindful steps.
How To Use CBD Oils?
To make sure you’re getting as much of the good stuff as possible, we recommend placing your desired dosage under your tongue and waiting 30 seconds before swallowing (take this time to set an intention, direct the dose to helping you) Sometimes it can be tricky to perfect your dose, so we recommend first timers start out low and slow with one half to one full dropper.
Since our CBD Oils are THC Free, we truly recommend higher doses. Leading studies show that in order to cause an impact on inflamed parts of our body, we should be consuming over 60mg of CBD a day. Especially those of us who are athletes or dealing with chronic pain.
How Do You Know What You’re Getting?
For something that’s supposed to calm you, selecting a CBD or cannabis oil sure can be stressful. We hope to offer some assistance to easing you into your new lifestyle.
First things first, find a company you trust. Research is king and it is important to know who sources, treats and delivers the flower in your hemp, because once it’s extracted and distilled, everything that went into the flower will be concentrated in your oil. Transparency is key. You don’t want any secrets when it comes to your plant materials. It’s also important that, if you are only hoping to consume legal or hemp-based products, your CBD products contain no more than 0.3% THC.
